Obama to Sign Anti-Smoking Bill Monday
Yes I know; smoking is bad for your health and I am guilty as charged. The number one health issue though, which causes the most problems is obesity. Why not do something about that? Oh, maybe this is just the start and functions as a smoke screen.
I suspect that will be next on the list and the FDA will get full reign of how much fat, sugar and carbohydrates are going to be in our food. Huge warning signs all over the boxes and wrappers are supposed to withhold you from eating it.
I doubt it will help, unless there is a vomiting person on all the packing materials. That might prevent me from buying or eating it. I suppose eventually I would get immune to that and the chocolate and pies don't taste any less delicious.
Oh well, I can at least take some comfort in the fact that I am not the only smoker who is being targeted here; millions of other smokers are as well, including Mr. Clinton. The same warnings, price increases and lower nicotine percentages affect him as well. Will this help to get even the die-hards to quit smoking?
