Going Solo

Most of the times those going on a vacation are couples and families, but singles are hardly ever booking a trip. Somehow it seems that for Singles holiday is just another time to be confronted with the fact that they are alone. It may even be depressing to them. That is too bad; it should actually be a time to enjoy their freedom and see the world while they are not being tied down, yet.

I can understand when being a Single holiday around families and couples may not really be something they would be looking forward to, but why not book a vacation which is entirely focused on those who are going by themselves? It is a great way to spend time with people in the same position and an excellent opportunity to make some new friends.

Not all travel agencies offer specific Solo holidays, simply because those would have to adhere to different requirements than the ones which would be geared towards family entertainment. That would take too much time and effort on their part. It is worth though to find those agencies and book a getaway.

I have no doubt that singles will have the time of their life and who knows, it may well be that they come away with more then just some great memories: it could well be their last vacation as a single. :-)
