Guarded and Protected
I think I am getting a little paranoid lately; while I was out on the patio yesterday I heard twigs breaking in the woods behind our house. It was almost like somebody was walking out there, but I did not see a thing. It bothered me at that time, but I could not figure out why.
It just occurred to me what the difference was: our dog is not here to warn us by barking, in case something would be wrong! She is not only our best friend and companion, but she also functions as our GE Alarm.
It is odd and somewhat uncalled for as well relying on her to keep us safe. Initially she may keep burglars at bay, but anyone with the intent to get access to our home, would find out soon enough that her bark is worse than her bite. I suspect she would not bite at all; she is way too friendly.
Another consideration was that when we would go on vacation, she would not be here to guard the place. We would probably put her in a kennel, take her with us, or let her stay with relatives. That would create an alarming situation and the thought of a GE security system is becoming more and more appealing to me.
Home is supposed to provide us with safety and security. The thought of finding our home in disarray, due to it being burglarized, is very disturbing to me. An alarm system is the best solution and since they come wireless these days, installation is so simple that even a caveman can do it.
We would not have to impose on our neighbors either to watch our house; it will be monitored at all times. It is so nice having the peace of mind to leave home with the knowledge that it would be guarded. Our GE home security system would keep it safe and sound from all alarms!
