So, it is best not to go there to spend your precious vacation. What if you are already there? It is not like you can spread your wings and fly away whenever you want. No, there is a whole lot of preparation which needs to be done before you can finally leave.

It may just be another clever idea to rake up some money, seeing this headline in Time: Air travel fee to help developing nations. It sounds like they got some other plans in the wings and prod people to use the airlines to finance them.

It is hard to tell what really is going on, but in case you had already made plans to go to Afghanistan: it might be better if you cancel them.
