Bird-eating frog among 163 new species found

It is too bad that there was neither a picture, nor any specifics given about this frog. It is all left up to our imagination and mine is running wild right now.

In order for this frog to be able to eat birds, it has to be enormous; otherwise I don't see how it could swallow an entire bird, without chocking or possibly ending up with a 'frog' in its throat.

Another possibility could be that this frog has adapted to its environment by growing teeth. Maybe it had teeth all along and shrank in to a more suitable size? Just consider this: a frog standing on just its hind legs could very well pass for a miniature Tyrannosaurus Rex.

I wonder what they are going to call this frog. Since there already is a Bull Frog, they may name it a Shark Frog. I would suggest referring to it as a Froggosaurus Rex; it is not something I would like to run in to.

That's for the birds!
