Heavy rain shuts parts of Atlanta

You may have plans to spend some downtime in this city, but keep in mind that it is almost fall. If you expect nothing but sunny skies, then you better come in out of the rain. It would be best if you took a rain check before you get rained out.

Apparently this is not the first time this happens in Atlanta. It seems quite obvious that when it rains there, it pours. That does not necessarily mean you should not pay a visit to this city, it just means you should be prepared and bring all your rain gear.

You would do well to check the weather before you leave for Atlanta. The likelihood that your original plans will be washed out is great. Therefore it would be wise to have a backup plan ready, in case those parts of the city you would want to visit would be shut down.

There are lots of indoor activities and attractions, museums and cultural events which you can resort to when your outdoor plans get washed out. A search online will assist with picking out those activities appealing to you. It is worth your time:

You would not want it to rain on your parade!
