Cheap Eating Tips For Trips

No, I am not going to tell you not to eat at all. Even though that would be the cheapest route to go, it is neither the wisest, nor the healthiest way. I found some tips online which really made good sense and will stay in line with your budget. They will even save you some money.

When you travel with kids, you probably already pack lunch bags for on the road, but why not stock up on nutritious snack bars you can give them during the vacation as well? It will prevent them from getting too hungry and wanting to eat anything and everything.

Instead of a hotel, book a condo where you can prepare your own meals. Buying on a local market is cheap, but you can also bring easy meals like dehydrated foods. Those are light weight, simple and easy to prepare.

In case you rather stay in a hotel, find places to eat outside the tourist area. Most of the time they serve good home cooked meals for a lot less. Go exploring and check out all the diners you come across. Just hop in and take a look at the menu and the prices, but don't do that on an empty stomach. Everything will smell and look delicious which could end up being very costly.

Your eyes may be bigger then your budget!
