Cooking Equipment That's Strictly for Men
I was surprised to read that men like to cook over open fire with equipment that is bigger and badder. It also seems to be their preference to cook a huge amount of meat; instead of a few pork chops, they rather grill the entire hog. That is what I call having some serious irons in the fire!
You don't have to be in the wild to start a fire; it can easily be done outdoors in the backyard. There is nothing more pleasurable then to have a cook out with friends, family and/or neighbors. This is mostly done on a grill, but you could purchase some logs as well and light a fire. Just be careful not to start a wildfire.
I am not to crazy about the fire place in the living room for roasting meat. It is not so much the smell, but the gunk that might cake on the inside of the chimney; eventually that could cause a fire. Nah, outside is the best place. It also eliminates the fact that you might draw fire from your spouse, because you refuse to clean up any mess.
At least you don't have to jump out of the frying pan into the fire: you are not using one!
