Top 10 places to get spooked on Halloween
You only got a few more days to come up with a good costume and a place to go. In case you really want to be freaked out, those ten recommended places are mostly abandoned hospitals, prisons and castles, either here in the States or across the world.
I don't see why you need to go far; you can probably find an old abandoned building somewhere in your own vicinity. Better yet, how about this top 10:
1. Find a woodsy area and spend the night there. All those strange noises, lit up animal eyes, falling acorns and breaking twigs are guaranteed to scare the heebee jeebees out of you.
2. Spend the night in a cemetery; it is bound to scare you to death.
3. Wait to open your credit card or bank statement until Halloween; that will make for a good haunting.
4. A huge live spider makes any place the creepiest you have ever been to.
5. Stuff your stomach as full as you can and then take a nap. You are likely to wake up spooked by a nightmare.
6. Get in to your closet; the skeletons in there will probably come back to haunt you.
7. Let someone sneak up on you and yell "Boo" in your ear. That always makes for a good scare.
8. Look at your image in the mirror after you just got up. Success guaranteed and it gets better over the years!
9. Open the door on Halloween expecting 'trick or treaters' and finding out it is your mother-in-law coming over for a stay. Terror galore!
