Avoiding Ida

Should you have booked a getaway to the Gulf Coast for this coming week then you may want to revise your plans; Ida is in the Gulf and heading towards the coast.

Ida has apparently turned in to a hurricane, but so far it is unclear whether it will stay that way, or if it will increase or decrease in force. There is even serious doubt it will make landfall at all.

Most of the predictions are showing a lot of controversy about its path. Some of the 'spaghetti models' as they are called have it bend back in the Gulf, while others show a route across land. We will have to wait and see.

It is definitely something to keep in mind if you are heading south this week. If you can postpone your trip, then please do. There is no need for putting yourself and your family at risk!
