Sunset Cliffs, San Diego, California Part 2

Near these beautiful Sunset Cliffs, you will also find Sunset Cliffs Natural Park close by. This shoreline park is open to the public and offers many cliff-side trails.

However, it is not recommended to bring young children and being cautious is of the highest priority, since access to the beaches is limited, often undeveloped and crumbly, steep, and many paths are not very defined.

This is also one of the reasons not to go there when your mobility is limited, unless you make use of the recently constructed concrete pathway located south of Ocean Beach Pier. It runs along the ocean and is much safer then the other trails.

You will have no trouble finding plenty of hotels, Bed and Breakfast accommodations, shops and restaurants here and there is more then enough parking space available, as well as portable restrooms and a public shower, but for camping and parking your RV you will have to drive a couple of extra miles.

It is worth it though, because you don't get to see Mother Nature's gorgeous and amazing handiwork that often, so close at home. Hopefully, we can admire it for a long time to come!
