Winter Vacation: Aspen, Colorado Part 2

You certainly don't have to be bored while staying in Aspen, Colorado. If you are then it is by your own choice, because there are plenty of dining opportunities and a vibrant nightlife is pretty much a given, but you will also encounter lots of art, culture, history, and let's not forget all the many shops. Whatever your preference is; Aspen pretty much has got it.

At this height, the weather is rather unpredictable and since you will be spending lots of time outdoors, there are a few things you need to be sure of to pack, no matter what time of year you go. Recommended are lightweight, breathable fabrics which you can wear on top of each other if needed, sunscreen, sunglasses, lip balm, and sturdy shoes.

Accommodations are available in the form of hotels, Bed and Breakfast, lodges, condos, condominiums, homes for rent, RV parks and camp grounds. The last are probably your best option for keeping it relatively cheap, but keep in mind to bring a heater and warm sleeping bags.

Even though Aspen is linked to the rich and famous, it hasn't lost any of its historic charms and caters to both large and small budgets. How much you spend is entirely up to you, but ensure to bring plenty of time; you will need that more then anything else!
