Winter Vacation: Deer Valley, Park City, Utah, Part 3

April 15th rings in summer season at Deer Valley, Park City, Utah and that opens up the opportunity for typical summer activities such as spending a day at the beach, rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, trap shooting, ATV tours, and more.

You will find all kinds of accommodations and besides hotels, motels, town homes, condominiums, and more remotely located private rentals, there are also campgrounds in the vicinity which are open from mid April until mid October.

Some are within a radius of 5 miles, while others can be found further away. Deer Valley Park for instance gives you the choice between 221 sites for pitching a tent, or fully hooking up your RV. Most sites are only available for yearly rental, but that still leaves enough sites which you can stay at on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis.

Prices range from $30 a week for a tent, to $240 for a full hook up and are based on the attendance of 4 people. For an additional person you will have to pay an extra $2 per day, or $10 per week. Should you be more interested in yearly rental, then $1500 for either tent, or RV will ensure your site.

All this includes showers, laundry facilities, and a spot in the shade. Boat docks, gas pumps, and fire wood are available, but should you not mind driving a little longer, then you may want to check into the other campgrounds; they are probably a bit cheaper due to the distance.

It doesn't matter whether there is snow or sunshine in the forecast; this is an excellent vacation destination all year around!
