Summer Vacation In Jackson Hole, Wyoming

One of the best things of Jackson Hole in Wyoming is that it has got something to offer for everyone year around.

It is said that it is even busier during summer then in winter and this is not surprising when taking in account all the National Parks and forests in this area.

You could visit Grand Teton National Park with its majestic 7,000 feet rising up in the air granite peaks and gorgeous views, or emerge yourself in all the natural wonders Yellowstone National Park has got to offer.

Don't overlook the National Elk Refuge, which is home to around 10,000 elk which stay here each winter through spring after having migrated here, and the Bridger-Teton National Forest with all its rivers, streams, wildlife and incredible landscape.

There are a gazillion of summer activities you can participate in, such as hiking, golfing, paragliding, riding the tram, mountain biking, attending the mountain sports school, concerts, and other seasonal events. The children are not forgotten either and can enjoy kids camps and other kids' activities.

Mountain biking is a very popular activity here and the choice in downhill trails which open mid June is enormous. Don't bother to bring your own, because there are many different types of bikes including a helmet, a pressure suit and knee/shin guards for rent and park lift tickets can be purchased at the rental locations.

What goes up, must come down. At least you don't have to go through the exhausting effort getting to the top, but still can fully enjoy the ride down!
