Catching Some Sun

In spite of the housing bubble, there are still a lot of new sub-divisions popping up in our area and I suspect it is no different throughout the country. What I don't understand is that all that new development is not being equipped with state of the art technology, while almost everyone is so fixated on going green.

Especially here in the South, where there is no lack of sunshine, one would expect to see more residencies being fitted out with home solar power, but unfortunately that is not the case. It is extremely rare to come across an existing abode with solar power panels installed on its roof.

My suspicion is that many homeowners are not aware of the available monetary aids from state and government and the positive effect solar energy would have on their monthly electricity bill and the value of their home. It sure would be worth your while looking into catching some sun.

It doesn't take much sunshine to reap the benefits of this source of energy though. Even the faintest rays will already increase the budget and could even result in the power company owing you, instead of the other way around. I can only imagine how exciting it would be to see the meter run backwards, instead of constantly forward!
