Activities Below The Surface At Biminis, Bahamas

There is so much to do at Biminis. Lounging at the beach doesn't even begin to scratch the surface; you really need to go below it.

That is meant literally, because much of what the Biminis have to offer lies on the bottom of the ocean. Scuba diving or snorkeling is one of the activities to admire the many shipwrecks, limestone formations, caverns, tunnels, and corals.

Close to the surface, you can find various shipwrecks that functions as a home to turtles, corals, and sponges. Dive a little deeper and you can admire the Road to Atlantis and Rainbow reef with its unique marine life.

Incredible, colorful coral formations unfold before your eyes at a depth of 50 feet and for the daredevils among you there are plenty of caves, slopes, overhangs, arches, more wrecks, and inhabitants of the ocean to investigate. Just dive a little deeper.

Swim with sharks or dolphins and observe the many species of fish. In case you prefer catching them instead of watching them, no problem; Biminis is famous for its big-game fishing and international fishing competitions.

Other activities which can be done in and on the water include boating, sailing, swimming, kayaking, and several other water sports. Swimming with dolphins and snorkeling are also available for the youngsters of the family.
