Activities In And Near The Eden Project, Cornwall, United Kingdom

It would take around 4 hours to take in all the Eden Project has to offer and that is if you are not doing anything else and don't attend some of the extra events, such as workshops, music, art displays, theatre, and more.

Activities at the Eden Project include ice skating, the SkyWire, rock climbing, and bouldering. The ice skating rink is open during the months of October through February, except on holidays. Tickets have to be bought separately and cost around $9.

For the daredevils among you there is the option to see the Eden Project from high up in the air. The SkyWire is the longest zip line in England; 2165 feet to be precise. It offers unique views of the Biomes, gardens, landscaping, and beautiful surroundings. You can add the flight to your entrance tickets for $7.50 more, or buy a separate ticket for $15.

Test your rock climbing and bouldering skills on one of the 10 walls that each differ in difficulty. For $15 you can book a climb that lasts for 45 minutes. The equipment as well as hints, tips, and rock climbing advice are all included. Recommended is to check if it is open and learn about the terms, conditions, and requirements before you book.

The children can join their own rock climbing club under the supervision or qualified and experienced staff member. Those are held on Saturday mornings from the beginning of March through the beginning of November and will cost $10.50.

There are also lots of free activities such as the children's play areas, trails with shortcuts, hideaways, stepping stones and sandpits, special children's events, story telling, and interactive exhibits.

That is more then enough to keep them busy for several days!
