Treehotel In Harads, Sweden

The Bird's Nest is part of the Treehotel in Harads, Sweden, which offers a total of 8 to 10 different tree rooms to choose from.

Don't be held back by the hand of winter, because each tree room is well insulated and comfortably warm due to heating installed under the floor.

In case you wonder where to go when you have to answer the 'call of nature' the answer is simply: use the tree room's toilet.

The Mirror cube has a freezing-toilet, but the rest of the rooms are all equipped with combustion toilets. All of them are environmentally friendly and work on electricity which is generated by green hydroelectric power.

There is more than sufficient running water in the rooms to brush your teeth and wash your hands, but it is not enough for taking a shower. This will have to be done in a separate building. You can plan doing so before going to Britta's pensionat where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served.

At this location, which is not far from the tree rooms, you will also find a sauna, TV, Internet, a bar and relaxation area. You wouldn't expect finding those modern creature comforts upon entering this building; it is like going back in time to the 1930s.

The most spectacular however are the surroundings. The view from the rooms presents you with gorgeous scenes of the Lule river valley. The majestic forests, impressive river, and unspoiled nature will ensure rest and relaxation take precedence in no time!
