Treehouse Temptation

We have diligently been watching a show called 'Treehouse Masters' and truly enjoy seeing what kind of tree house they come up with each time. I always liked the idea of a tree house; it sparks a feeling of adventure, discovery, being one with nature, and seclusion.

Pete Nelson, the tree house master, is a genius when it comes to designing tree houses which fit in with the clients' property and adhere to all their wishes and desires,

02 Treehouse in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin is doing an excellent job at that as well. They came up with this Deck-to-Garden Pinecone tree house for instance, which totally blends in with its background.

While watching those shows, I learned that many have tried their hand at building a tree house of their own, and with great success.

I also came to the conclusion that the secret to creating a sturdy, long-lasting abode in the trees is the foundation. Once this is safely and well secured to the trees, you can pretty much build anything on top of it from there on out.

We have several trees in the back of our yard and with five grandchildren in the age-range from 1-7, it is very tempting to build and surprise them with a tree house.

Maybe some day we will, although I suspect their grandparents will be occupying and spending more time in the tree house than they would!
